Ever since he was a child, Bittersweet has demonstrated an outstanding ability to learn and reason. Due to these traits, he attended a prestigious high school for gifted and talented students.

Biography:
One of the most accomplished Heathens, the very knowledgeable and tremendously skilled Bittersweet would fit Bubblegum’s idea of a perfect soldier because he does everything well. Not only is he an excellent communicator, but he follows orders without question, has excellent leadership qualities, and most importantly, he excels in every facet of warfare. The only downside to Bittersweet is that at times, he thinks too highly of himself and his overconfidence can get him into trouble. Another issue that will show up all too often is the competitive rivalry he and Lolli-Pop share. They are always trying to best one another at everything whether it is on, or off, the battlefield.
At various times during the civil war amongst the fallen angels, and only when Bubblegum did not require his services on the battlefield, Bittersweet would volunteer whenever Lolli-Pop was putting together a team for a special mission. Setting aside the risk of certain death, he enjoyed tagging along on the suicide missions because he wanted to be there if she failed. Much to his chagrin, Lolli-Pop has and continues to complete her assignments. Even worse, the stellar record of her successful victories often makes Bittersweet feel ill.
