Special Powers:

The Jinn possesses enhanced strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and endurance.  Their organs, circulatory system, lymphatic system, nervous system, and structural system are made from the thick and dense, smokeless fire, the one true creator used to make this race.  Their skin is a hardened yet flexible version of this same smokeless fire, which makes them quite durable.  As a species, the Jinn are known to have a high degree of resiliency to injury, but if hurt; they are easily distinguishable from humans because their blood is black in color.  In most instances, the Jinn can heal from almost any wound or broken bone in a matter of seconds.  However, if properly struck, adamant weapons or those made from the white light of creation can kill them.

Special Abilities:

The Jinn are exceptional warriors and notoriously difficult to kill.  One of the most important aspects about them is that they possess free will.  Located in the center of their chest, where one would find the solar plexus on a mortal, is where their soul resides.  This incorporeal essence is about the size of a tennis ball and is protected within a cocoon of hardened smokeless fire.  Unlike the human race, the Jinn can tap into their soul to gain divine guidance if they so choose.

Special Weapons:

Since they are created from smokeless fire, the Jinn can turn their hands and feet into any sharp or blunt instrument that they desire.  Whatever weapon they choose to create, whether it be a knife, dagger, sword, ax, hatchet, club, or hammer, will form immediately.  If the weapon is broken, an enemy cannot use the damaged portion that is no longer in contact with the Jinn because it will quickly dissipate into the air.

Biography:

The Jinn are a tanned race of humanoid-shaped creatures made from smokeless fire, and they are indistinguishable from mortals when it comes to appearance.  Although each Jinn will have the same skin tone, the color of their eyes and style of hair can vary based on personal preference.

Along with angels and humans, they make up the three sapient creations intended to live on the planet Earth.  In the hierarchy of these different races, the Jinn rank below the angels but above the humans.

When born, and as a result of their free will, the Jinn have no constraints on what they should believe as it pertains to the laws of creation.  Some of their species are devoted followers of the word of God, while others staunchly reject them.  They share this trait with mortals, whose attitude depends solely on each individual, and it can vary greatly throughout the population.  In fact, this conundrum of free will makes both of these species, in essence, neither innately good nor innately evil.

On Earth, the Jinn live life just as mortals do.  They work, eat, drink, sleep, and breed with the opposite sex.  Furthermore, any offspring created amongst their pairings will resemble the parents.  However, due to their dislike of the cold weather, a majority of the towns that the Jinn have established for themselves are located in very warm climates or near a desert.  While the Jinn may interact with mortals, it is impossible for them to breed with the inferior species.
