Biography:
After a stint in the Russian military and KGB, the completely corrupt Viktor Konnikov wanted more power and prestige. To get both, he accepted an offer to assassinate a well-protected Russian Oligarch. The mission was a complete disaster, and he failed spectacularly. Hunted by the man he tried to murder and the far-reaching resources at this individual's disposal, Viktor Konnikov was forced into hiding. He was eventually found by a group of Russian thugs. Dragged into the streets, these men were ordered to kill Viktor Konnikov in public as a warning to others. Luckily for him, Kismet intervened and presented him with an offer of a lifetime.

Biography:
With the death of his father when he was only a child, Vadim Konnikov grew up idolizing his uncle, and he followed his example. As a young man, he even joined the military and the KGB to gain the acceptance of his uncle. Both experiences created a shared bond between the two, and Viktor Konnikov always treated Vadim like a son. All the while, his often useless and incompetent cousin, Eugene, spent the majority of his life feeling the ire of Viktor Konnikov.

Biography:
Unlike his father, who grew up as a poor peasant in Russia, Eugene Konnikov was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. The incessant coddling he received from his mother lasted into adulthood. This helped to create an entitled and self-centered young man. Lacking the street smarts and intelligence needed to excel in the family business, Eugene Konnikov was often ridiculed by his father. The fact that Eugene Konnikov refused to join the military and follow in his father’s footsteps only increased the amount of abuse he received.

To cope with his stress, lack of self-esteem, and the compounding issues they caused at home, Eugene Konnikov started taking prescription pills on the advice of his psychiatrist. When that was not enough to numb his pain, he took large amounts of heroin and other drugs. Addicted to the euphoric feelings they generated, he entered a downward spiral and soon became a liability to his father and, more importantly, to Kismet.

Biography:
When Viktor Konnikov accepted the once-in-a-lifetime offer from Kismet, he knew that he would need a bunch of trustworthy people in an untrusty business to be by his side. Two childhood friends made the most sense, so he recruited the Yuvshenko brothers to be of assistance.

Due to a multitude of injuries to his right leg that he sustained during his years as a Russian Special Forces Operator and subsequent damage to the discs in his back acquired during a short tenure in the KBG, Boris Yuvshenko was forced into an early retirement and took a job as Viktor Konnikov's driver.

Biography:
Ever since they were children, Niko Yuvshenko would protect Viktor Konnikov from the other kids and bullies in their neighborhood. While serving in the military, nothing changed, and he brutally beat a superior officer who mocked his best friend.

​Kicked out of the military and with no money saved, the parentless Niko Yuvshenko had to live on the streets while his older brother and best friend advanced their military careers. To combat his hardships, he took up boxing.

Years later, Kismet approached Viktor Konnikov with a business opportunity, and the petty thug accepted his offer. In need of a bodyguard during this new venture, the Russian asked his good friend Niko to retire from boxing.

For the traitorous ways of Viktor Konnikov, the Heathens assassinated Niko Yuvshenko in cold blood. As a sign of things to come, and as a warning to their remaining enemies, they left his bullet-riddled body in the street.

While most would assume the raving drug addict Franklin Bedouin was just another waste of life, appearances can be deceiving. A childhood prodigy with a high intellect and natural ability to memorize facts, he attended the most prestigious schools as a youth. He even received a full scholarship to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to study chemistry.

After graduating from MIT, his creativity got the better of him. In a delusional attempt to generate billions of dollars in revenue for himself, Franklin Bedouin created his own pharmaceutical company. The tiny lab and company headquarters were located in the small studio apartment he was sharing with his girlfriend, Margaret Phillips. The business venture failed spectacularly after they both became highly addicted to the drugs he concocted.
